Moscow is a fantastic city with great architecture and lots of history. There are interesting motifs on every corner and you always find something new. A walk through the city center is an experience in itself. Once you have memorized the Cyrillic characters, you can get around quite well. Whereas around the red square and in the subway lines English inscriptions are increasingly to be found - almost boring ;) . The lack of these familiar letters had a special appeal to me when I first walked through the streets of the city.
